The design of this commercial was led by Chris Chatterton who devised simple 2D characters that could be translated into 3D models.
The strong design followed through to the painted background that used minimal colours to help the characters break out of the frame.

Effective use of After Effects allowed 2D elements to be animated to resemble the movement of cars.

We designed a friendly character based upon the product range which included plastic containers, bins and floor mops. The approved design was built as a 3D model, and animated to interact with the live action footage, shot on location by Dene Films. Live action commercial featuring animated bingo balls. The live action was shot in and around Newcastle by Dene Films Films then passed over to Qurios to add in the 3D bingo balls.
Commercial to promote 'Dickens World', a themed attraction located at
Chatham Dockyard in Kent. It is based around the life of author Charles
Dickens, briefly a resident of Chatham as a child.
The commercial uses a cut-out style and includes elements of 2D and 3D animation.

in Carlisle.
This campaign was intended to raise awareness of the change in Scottish law allowing people the right to information about the services provided by local government.

provided CG animated files the fly over the rooftops of the city.
This 10 second commercial was produced for the Centre for Life, a visitor attraction based in Newcastle.

with silhouettes animated in Flash.
This campaign required the addition of a large digital matte painting for the final shot.
Taking reference from the small studio set Qurios created a 2D matte painting that extended the shot to warehouse proportions.
A camera
move was added in post production to slowly reveal the image.
This interstitial for Universal’s 13th Street channel required CG spiders to interact with live-action footage.
The live-action, directed by Jon Harvey of Jam Creative, was shot in South Africa in a small studio set. Qurios was required to design and build a nightmare spider that would eventually attack and entomb a phobia suffering actress.
